We met Tessa on a February afternoon... we arrived at the hospital at 6:30 AM for a C-section that was scheduled for 9:30.... which didn't get underway until 3:30. By 4:30... she had made her debut.
She came out screaming her sweet little head off, and has not been bashful about making us aware of her needs ever since!
Just this year Tessa has started to understand what a "birthday" is, and that it's really good when it is your birthday. Here she is turning 1, 2, and 3...
And finally 4 years old... on her way to preschool last week in her new dress, so excited about her special "birthday cookies" to share with her class for snack.
Her Grandma hooked her up with a pool party yesterday, and we had so much fun! It was a great party!
She has grown up SO MUCH this past year... (sniff, sniff).
So the indoor pool party was a big hit! Thanks so much to Grandma, and all our friends for celebrating Tessa with us and helping her have such a great birthday!

Happy Birthday Tessa!! I think having a pool party when your birthday is in February is up there with the coolest thing ever.
